Linz Winzerfest

Wine enjoyment and colourful Linz hustle and bustle on the historic market square

The absolute highlight of the year is the Linzer Winzerfest, which always takes place on the second weekend in September and lasts four days and nights. It is celebrated in the cozy-rustic wine village on the market square, in the middle of the historic old town. A colourful variety of brass bands and party bands provide traditional and modern live music for the popular, good, Rhenish atmosphere. Whether white, red or rosé, every connoisseur will find the right wine among the delicious regional wines. Culinary delights are also provided.

The annual highlight is the official opening on Friday evening as well as the Regio Treff of all regional wine majesties and former Linz wine majesties on Winzerfest Sunday. A wine trio consisting of the Linz Wine Queen and two princesses represents the city of Linz and the Linz Wine Festival for a period of two years.

Celebrate with us at one of the largest and most popular wine festivals on the Middle Rhine, because... "Worry is what life is all about. And troublemakers are the vines."
